Verdampfer reviews: tested in Beijing: Cost
Verdampfer advice for Beijing, covering wholesale terms, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Budget matters in Beijing, but with verdampfer the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 80:20 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Anyone who has compared verdampfer options in Beijing quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 80:20 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Beijing shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current CNY rates rather than a fixed list price.
Worth noting that the magnetic contact takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For nic salt users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. Comparing this against a 80:20 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 3.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1303 full puffs from a charge at 6 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 70, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. Delivery across Beijing is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Lemon Lime Soda: citrusy, crisp, described as zesty lemon over lime with gentle carbonation. On a 80:20 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Beijing
Availability in Beijing is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω regular and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and CNY rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
